Phiên dịch chuyên nghiệp

Phiên dịch không chỉ đòi hỏi tính chính xác cao mà còn cần tính chuyên nghiệp để khách hàng có thể tin tưởng vào những bản dịch mà phiên dịch viên truyền tải.

Trên thực tế, đội ngũ phiên dịch được gọi là chuẩn hóa ở nước ta còn rất ít, đội ngũ phiên dịch chuyên nghiệp chưa nhiều, phần lớn họ tự rèn luyện bản thân qua các kinh nghiệm làm việc là chính.

Ngoài những thiếu hụt về kiến thức, nhiều người làm phiên dịch hiện nay còn thiếu kĩ năng. Họ không hiểu hết những đòi hỏi của công tác phiên dịch nên không chú tâm đào luyện những kĩ năng cần thiết như: ghi nhớ thông tin, diễn thuyết trước công chúng, chuyển tải ý của người nói, v.v.

Do đó, để có thể trở thành một phiên dịch viên chuyên nghiệp, bản thân mỗi người phải tự trau dồi rất nhiều để khắc phục những yếu điểm kể trên.

It is not easy at all to win clients’ creditability in translated versions and this requires not only high-standard accuracy but also professionalism.

Actually, standardized and qualified interpreters in Vietnam are so rare. We still lack professional interpreters and the majority of them are self-trained through hands-on and working experiences.

Many interpreters nowadays have poor knowledge and skills. They are not fully aware of interpretation job requirements, hence the neglect, or even worse, ignorance of necessary skills improvement such as information memory, public speaking, conveying speaker’s meaning, ect.

Therefore, in order to become a professional interpreter, every interpreter must try to improve their own skills to overcome the mentioned drawbacks.
