Phiên dịch viên du lịch, hay còn gọi là hướng dẫn viên du lịch, thường chịu trách nhiệm dẫn khách du lịch đi tham quan các tour trong nước và quốc tế.

phiên dịch du lịch không đòi hỏi tính học thuật cao như các hình thức phiên dịch khác mà chủ yếu cần sự tinh tế, nhạy bén, và khéo léo trong ứng xử ở mỗi hướng dẫn viên. Vì vậy, hướng dẫn viên du lịch cần phải trang bị cho mình kiến thức về các lĩnh vực : du lịch- khách sạn, nhà hàng, và giao tiếp xuyên văn hóa…và cả sự năng nổ, nhiệt tình trong công việc để tạo cơ hội phát triển cho bản thân

Interpretation translation for tourists

Travel interpreters, or tourguides, are responsible for taking tourists on domestic tours and international tours. Travelling interpretation does not require very academic skills as other types of interpretation but mainly the gentleness, sharpness and tactics of a tourguide. Therefore tourguides have to be well-equipped with knowledge from various areas: travelling – hotel and accommodation, restaurant, and intercultural communication…and also a must requirement is enthusiasm so as to get self-promotion.
