Phiên dịch seminar

Các seminar thường là những cuộc họp mang tính giáo dục, thường tập trung về một đề tài cụ thể nào đó và bao gồm nhiều thành phần tham dự. Trong các seminar, đầu tiên các diễn giả sẽ nói chuyện và sau đó dành thời gian cho khách mời thảo luận.

Vai trò của các phiên dịch viên ở đây vừa phải dịch phần của diễn giả, vừa phải dịch ý kiến, câu hỏi từ khách mời. Đôi khi phiên dịch viên phải là người giúp giải quyết những tình huống khó xử cho diễn giả, đôi khi phải biết cách đối phó với những khách mời tỏ ra khó chịu…Vì thế nên phiên dịch viên cần phải tinh nhạy, khéo léo trong những tình huống này để giúp các seminar diễn ra suôn sẻ.

Seminar interpretation translation

Seminars are often meetings with educational purpose focusing on some specific topics and including many components of attendance. In seminars, the speakers will make their presentation first and then spend time for discussion.

The role of interpreters therein is not easy at all since they have to interpret the speech and opinions and questions from guests. Sometimes, interpreter is the one to solve embarrassing situations and know how to deal with hostile audiences. Therefore, interpreters must be sharp and quick-minded to have a smooth seminar.
